streamline on tiptoes


Benefits:
  • Develops body awareness
  • Improves balance
  • Increases shoulder and ankle mobility
  • Improves focus

Picture
Cues:
  • Start in mountain pose
  • ​On an inhale bring your arms up and out to the side and then overhead into a streamline position 
  • On the next inhale come up as high as you can on your tip toes

Common Errors:
  • The chin is tucked in towards the chest
  • The hands are not placed one in front of the other
  • ​Not coming up fully onto the tip toes
Modifications:
  • To lesson the intensity of the pose you can:
  • Keep your feet flat on the ground for greater stability
  • Have your arms extended overhead with your hands beside one another if the range of motion in your shoulders is restricted

  • Pain in the:
