restorative twist


Benefits:
  • Increases spinal and hip mobility
  • Restorative qualities

Cues:
  • Start lying on your back
  • Place a bolster on your right side lined up length wise with your upper body at the spot you estimate your knees will be placed in your twist
  • On an inhale bring your knees in towards your chest and spread your arms out wide like airplane wings with your palms facing down
  • On an exhale slowly drop your knees to the right side allowing your knees to rest on the bolster
  • Turn your gaze to the left
